Hi! I am Alexandra. I use photography as a tool within my research-led practice, converging documentary approaches with participative experiences, site-specific interventions and speculative thinking.

In my most recent projects, I delve into the intricate entanglements of vegetal and human life. Examining relationships between humans and cultivated plants, I navigate between the emotional and political realms of resource management, conservation strategies, food and knowledge production.

I develop long-term projects that evolve over time and adapt to different formats and modes of presentation. In recent years I have collaborated with a range of artists, practitioners and experts from different fields to create site-specific activations, public workshops and transdisciplinary dialogues with the aim of tasting, listening, learning and sharing togehter.
